Job summary

BCL Legal represents a chambers-ranked team within a leading platform, renowned for its active funds practice advising leading private equity firms and asset managers. The associate will handle liquidity transactions and secondaries matters, with exposure to continuation funds, recapitalisations and fund-level investments.

You'll also work on ongoing compliance and corporate matters affecting investment funds, gaining insight into both deal mechanics and the commercial implications for sponsors

Job description

A chambers ranked team within a V5 platform has built one of the most active funds practices in the country. Over the past 5 years, this practice has grown exponentially, driven by elite liquidity partners and an institutional commitment to the secondaries market.

Because of this sustained growth, they are looking to make a key hire at the associate level.

They advise many of the world's leading private equity firms and asset managers, resulting in a substantial volume of work at the top end of the market. Alongside liquidity transactions, the team also advises on ongoing fund matters, providing associates with insight into both the transactions themselves and the issues affecting funds beyond individual deals.

Alongside transaction work, the team also advises asset managers on day-to-day compliance and corporate matters, providing additional insight into the practical and commercial considerations affecting investment funds.
