Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Fund Finance Associate to support the accounting and financial operations of its private investment funds. Reporting to the Vice President of Fund Finance, this role drives fund operations, investor reporting, capital activity, and financial analysis in a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, fund administration, or investment operations.
• Experience supporting private equity, alternative investment, or investment funds is preferred.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and investment performance reporting is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, intellectually curious, and eager to contribute within a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities

• Track investment performance and analyze fund returns.
• Support monthly and quarterly fund reporting, including NAV calculations and investor statements.
• Maintain investor communications and respond to inquiries through the investor portal.
• Assist with fundraising due diligence materials and investor presentation support.
• Prepare management fee analyses, cash flow reporting, and other ad hoc financial analyses.
• Support audits and financial reporting requests.
• Prepare capital call and distribution calculations.
• Partner with investment teams, custodians, and external stakeholders to ensure accurate fund operations.
