Job summary

Children's Receiving Home of Sacramento (CRH) is seeking a motivated Fund Development & Communications Intern to support the launch of Cedar Cottages and related fundraising campaigns. The role offers hands-on experience in nonprofit communications, donor stewardship, and event planning with mentorship from the Fund Development Director and access to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools; social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) a plus.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn CRM/donor database tools.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Genuine interest in nonprofit work and CRH's mission to serve children and young adults.

Responsibilities

• Communications & Content: Create content for CRH website, social channels, and e-newsletter; edit and design collateral materials using Canva.
