  • Oversee internal tracking of Profit & Loss (P&L), Assets Under Management (AUM), and fund performance metrics.
  • Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, including variance analysis, accruals, and investor reporting deliverables.
  • Prepare and review investor statements and capital account reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support new fund launches, operational changes, and system enhancements.
  • Analyze and prepare data for regulatory filings such as Form PF, Form ADV, and other compliance reporting.
  • Partner with the Director of Finance to support interim and year-end financial audits and tax engagements.
  • Assess and implement process improvements, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and efficiency across fund operations.
  • Evaluate new fund proposals, including fee structures and distribution models, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Maintain and enhance complex Excel-based models used for forecasting and analysis.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of fund accounting experience, ideally within private equity or alternative investments.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong command of U.S. GAAP and fund structures (e.g., waterfall calculations, capital calls/distributions).
  • Proven experience working with complex fund models and high volumes of financial data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel skills required; experience with accounting platforms and fund administration software a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • May occasionally require extended hours during reporting periods or audits.
  • Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and video conferencing.
  • Must be comfortable working with computers and navigating various accounting and business platforms.
