Job summary

GP Fund Solutions, a leading fund administrator, seeks a Controller to drive accurate financial reporting for multiple clients and partner with Directors on strategy.

You will review statements, oversee audits and tax filings, and mentor the accounting team while upholding internal controls. The role offers hybrid scheduling after probation and a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements and capital statements.
• Provide technical accounting expertise to clients.
• Coordinate external audit and annual tax reporting.
• Prepare partner capital calls, waterfall models, distributions, and fees.
• Lead and mentor team with clear objectives and coaching.

Controller – GP Fund Solutions

Our Controllers play a key role in supporting their teams—managing client financials, reviewing workbooks, and partnering with Directors on client strategy.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements, partner capital statements, and other key reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and industry insights to clients.
• Coordinate and oversee the external audit process, as well as annual tax reporting in partnership with third-party accounting firms.
• Prepare and review partner capital calls, waterfall models, distribution notices, and management fee calculations.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and delivering performance feedback.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations and consistently meeting deliverables.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
