Job summary

GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is seeking a Financial Controller to drive accurate financial reporting across our client base and partner with Directors on strategy. You’ll lead a team, review statements, and oversee audits in collaboration with external firms.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance with 5+ years of experience and proven management skills. Proficiency in Excel and the MS Office suite is essential; hybrid scheduling is available after probation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Management experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements, partner capital statements, and other key reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and industry insights to clients.
• Coordinate external audit process and annual tax reporting with third-party accounting firms.
• Prepare and review partner capital calls, waterfall models, distributions, and management fee calculations.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members by setting clear objectives and delivering feedback.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and meet deliverables.

What You’ll Do:

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations and consistently meeting deliverables.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience
• Management experience
