Job summary

GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) is seeking a Controller to drive accurate financial reporting across multiple clients, review statements, and partner with Directors on client strategy. You will oversee audit coordination, tax reporting, and capital call calculations while mentoring the finance team.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 5+ years of accounting and management experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting deliverables across multiple clients.
• Review client financial statements, partner capital statements, and other key reports.
• Provide technical accounting expertise and industry insights to clients.
• Coordinate and oversee the external audit process, as well as annual tax reporting in partnership with third-party accounting firms.
• Prepare and review partner capital calls, waterfall models, distribution notices, and management fee calculations.
• Lead, train, and mentor team members by setting clear objectives, providing coaching, and delivering performance feedback.
• Ensure the team’s compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, effectively managing expectations and consistently meeting deliverables.
