Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant in New York, NY to manage NAV close and finalization for private fund structures, review fund economics, and oversee investor communications. The role collaborates with external auditors and cross-functional teams to produce timely, accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities include forecasting, performance attribution, and ensuring adherence to US GAAP while partnering with Tax, Legal, and Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fund NAV close and finalization for open- and closed-end private fund structures, including P&L review and investor allocations.
• Resolve discrepancies with third‑party administrators and internal stakeholders.
• Review calculations and payments related to management fees, carried interest, and incentive fees.
• Oversee review of capital activity, including capital calls and distributions.
• Review and approve investor capital account statements prepared by external fund administrators.
• Coordinate quarterly unaudited and annual audited financial statements with external auditors.
• Serve as a point of contact for annual audits.
• Produce monthly performance and attribution reporting for senior leadership.
• Develop and review monthly fund forecasts, NAV estimates and performance metrics.
• Support regulatory filings, investor communications, and client reporting.
• Partner with Operations, Investor Relations, Tax, Legal, Compliance and other groups on initiatives.
• Review fund expenses and allocations, assist with operating expense budgeting, and oversee vendor payments.
