Job summary

Patria Investments in Chicago seeks an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to lead fund operations, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across private markets. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.
• 10+ years of experience in private equity accounting with direct investments knowledge.
• Experience with investment company accounting and private equity fund structures.
• Strong understanding of the broader fund operating model and process rationale.
• Experience working with third-party fund administrators and outsourced operating models.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, documentation, and governance of fund policies and procedures.
• Own the quarterly valuation process for direct and co-investments with Investment Team.
• Manage quarterly fund expense reimbursements per governing documents and policies.
• Oversee investment reporting activities including quarterly statements and KPIs.
• Coordinate quarterly reporting and analysis of advisory fees and FPAUM for FP&A stakeholders.
• Support review of fund financial reporting by internal and external fund administrators.
• Provide operational support for Legal, Compliance, and Risk reporting across the fund platform.
• Design and enhance the fund operational control framework, supporting non-financial risk management.
• Execute and monitor SOX controls and support audit activities to stay audit-ready.
• Oversee relationships with third-party fund administrators and drive continuous service improvement.
• Partner on strategic initiatives like systems enhancements, new launches, and integrations.
