Job summary

Standish Management is seeking an accounting associate in Portland to support the day-to-day accounting operations and prepare fund-level financial statements for multiple fund families. The role includes updating schedules, calculating partner equity allocations, and analyzing complex investment transactions.

You will assist with the semi-annual portfolio review, monitor partnership compliance, support audits and tax review, and help with fundraising and capital calls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field
• 1–2 years of experience in a full-time role
• Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (not required, is a plus)
• Knowledge of various investment accounting concepts
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a team and individually
• Ability to effectively communicate to team members
• Strong organizational skills and work ethic

Responsibilities

• Interact with and respond to ad hoc limited partner requests

Compensation Ranges Annually (varies by city):

• Seattle: $80,000+

*Actual compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
