Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fund Accounting & Operations Associate/Accountant to join our team in Chicago. You will support accounting, administration and investor services for hedge funds and private equity funds, ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate reporting for investors.

The role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three or more days per week and offers a comprehensive benefits package along with opportunities to grow professionally within a large finance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a business-related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Two to five years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset value and disseminate financial and performance information to investors.
• Act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships with GAAP compliance.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and securities valuation in the portfolio accounting system.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
