Job summary

Daley And Associates, LLC in Providence, RI is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to oversee fund accounting, financial reporting, controls, and operations across multiple investment vehicles.

You will manage third-party fund administrators, lead year-end audits, review carried interest and fees, and support investor reporting and regulatory requirements across US, Cayman, and Luxembourg structures. You will mentor the fund accounting team and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in private equity fund accounting and/or Big 4 with PE exposure.
• CPA strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and private equity fund structures.
• Experience mentoring or managing team members.

Responsibilities

• Review carried interest, waterfall calculations, management fees, expenses, and investor allocations.
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, cash management, and credit facility activity.
• Support investor reporting and regulatory compliance across US, Cayman, and Luxembourg structures.
• Interpret LPAs and side letters to ensure accurate accounting and distributions.
• Identify process improvements and support special projects.
• Lead, mentor, and develop fund accounting team.

A leading middle-market private equity firm is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to join its team. This is a key role overseeing fund accounting, financial reporting, controls, and operational activities across multiple investment vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting across complex private equity fund structures
• Manage third-party fund administrators and review financial statement packages
• Lead year-end audits and serve as a key liaison with external auditors
• Review carried interest, waterfall calculations, management fees, expenses, and investor allocations
• Oversee capital calls, distributions, cash management, and credit facility activity
• Support investor reporting and regulatory requirements across U.S., Cayman, and Luxembourg structures
• Interpret LPAs and side letters to ensure accurate accounting, allocations, and distributions
• Identify and implement process improvements and support special projects
• Lead, mentor, and develop members of the fund accounting team

Qualifications

The approximate salary range for this position is between $120K-$160K, depending on experience.
