Job summary

The UMB Registered Fund team is seeking a student intern to support daily accounting and operational tasks for mutual fund clients in Milwaukee. You will reconcile cash between Fund Accounting and Custody, tie reports, and review daily client reports for accurate postings.

You will collaborate with external vendors like Bloomberg and apply your accounting or finance studies to real-world fund administration while gaining hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an Accounting, Finance, Economic, or International Business program.
• Opportunity to apply academic knowledge to mutual fund operations.
• Support daily accounting and reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform cash reconciliation between Fund Accounting and Custody for each fund.
• Assist in tying reports to ensure correct cash postings.
• Review daily client emailed reports and assist cash forecasting.
• Collaborate with external vendors such as Bloomberg.
