Job summary

UMB Bank’s Fund Accounting Intern program supports daily operations for 4 to 5 registered funds, handling reconciliations, security processing and valuations. You will work under a Sr. Lead in a collaborative environment with daily deadlines.

You will gain exposure to cash reconciliations, cash forecasting and working with external vendors such as Bloomberg, building core accounting experience for mutual funds and trust administration.

Job description

The UMB Registered Fund team , which manages the daily accounting, tax, audit, administration, and operational tasks for mutual fund and collective trust clients.

As the Fund Accounting Intern , you will be assigned a 4 to 5 registered funds and handle the day-to-day operations for those clients. This can include a number of reconciliations, security processing and valuations. This is a collaborative role that has daily deadlines, with all work being reviewed by a Sr. Lead in the department.

Compensation Range:

$33,786 - $49,698
