Job summary

Standish Management, LLC is seeking a junior accountant to assist in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and prepare fund-level financial statements for domestic and offshore fund families.

The role supports the internal semi-annual portfolio reviews, monitors compliance with partnership agreements, and assists with audits, tax return reviews, fundraising, and annual meetings. A Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of experience are preferred, with strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance-related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a full-time role.
• Strong academic performance (minimum 3.0 GPA).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Knowledge of investment accounting concepts and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and work both in a team and independently.
• Strong communication skills and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for multiple domestic and offshore fund families, updating portfolio investment schedules and partner equity allocations.
• Analyze complex investment transactions and support semi-annual portfolio reviews.
• Monitor compliance with partnership agreements and assist with audits, tax returns, fundraising, and annual meetings.
• Determine cash needs of partnerships and initiate capital calls; distribute notices to Limited Partners.
• Interact with General Partners and Controllers on ad hoc requests; support special projects.
