Job summary

Standish Management, a provider of specialized fund administration services, seeks a summer intern to gain exposure to private equity and venture capital through fund administration and partnership accounting.

This internship offers hands-on experience supporting Associates and Fund Controllers, including data entry, filing, and special projects. You will assist with systems conversions and analysis of reports, with exposure to the client reporting tools used by Standish's clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic Accounting and Finance principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of financial and client information into recordkeeping systems.
• Maintain and update filing systems.
• Assist audit and tax teams.
• Support systems conversion projects and data analysis.
• Work both in team and independently to meet deadlines.
