Job summary

Decile Group in the United States invites a Fund Accountant to execute core fund accounting workflows across a diversified venture fund portfolio. You will gain hands-on exposure to fund structures, capital activity, and reporting in a scalable platform environment.

You’ll work within established processes and under review, ensuring precision and ownership while contributing to tools that help thousands of emerging managers access venture capital.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in fund accounting, accounting, or fund administration.
• Familiarity with venture capital or private equity fund structures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple funds.
• Clear written communication and reliable follow-through.
• Interest in how accounting workflows can be improved through better systems, data, or automation.
• Prior experience supporting audits or year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day fund accounting tasks, including transaction booking, allocations, and capital activity
• Maintain accurate general ledger records across assigned funds
• Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules
• Support capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes
• Assist with audit and tax preparation through clean, well-organized workpapers
• Follow documented processes and controls consistently
• Surface questions or discrepancies promptly to senior team members
