Job summary

Decile Group is hiring a Fund Accountant to execute core fund accounting workflows across a defined set of venture funds. This role emphasizes precision, structure, and ownership, with hands-on exposure to fund structures, capital activity, and reporting across a broad portfolio of funds.

You’ll work within established processes and under review while developing deep expertise in how venture capital funds operate at scale, contributing to a platform that supports thousands of managers globally.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years in fund accounting, accounting, or fund administration.
• Familiarity with venture capital or private equity fund structures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple funds.
• Clear written communication and reliable follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day fund accounting tasks, including transaction booking and capital activity.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records across assigned funds.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes.
• Assist with audit and tax preparation through clean, well-organized workpapers.
• Follow documented processes and controls consistently.
• Surface questions or discrepancies promptly to senior team members.

What You'll Own
