Vaco is seeking an Investment Fund Accountant to support day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for investment funds, managed accounts, and related entities. The role emphasizes NAV calculations, multi-entity structures, and multi-currency accounting within a private asset management context.

The ideal candidate holds a CPA designation (or is pursuing it) and has exposure to fund/investment accounting, with strong attention to accuracy and controls.

Qualifikationen

• Must have CPA designation (or actively pursuing)
• Exposure to fund accounting or NAV reporting
• Experience with investment accounting or multi-entity structures
• Familiarity with multi-currency accounting environments

Aufgaben

• Assist monthly and quarterly close across funds and entities
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Maintain general ledger accuracy per applicable accounting standards
• Perform balance sheet, cash, and intercompany reconciliations
• Support financial reporting and management reporting requirements
• Assist NAV calculations and investment activity records
• Maintain investment accounting records and supporting schedules
• Assist cash, position, and NAV reconciliations across funds/accounts
• Assist valuation processes and investor capital statements
• Support audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Coordinate with fund admins, custodians, banks, and external service providers
• Identify process improvements and reporting efficiencies
