Zusammenfassung

Mission Staffing is seeking a Fund Accountant for a leading global investment management firm in New York. You will prepare monthly NAV reports, allocate investor returns, liaise with external fund administrators, and assist in financial statement reviews for private investment funds and venture capital vehicles.

You will work with investment, investor relations, and technology teams in a fast-paced environment, leveraging advanced Excel and fund accounting platforms to enhance reporting

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2–5 years of public or private accounting experience.
• Experience with private fund accounting is highly desirable.
• CPA license preferred, but not required.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting and reporting platforms such as Geneva, Sigma, Snowflake, Claude, or SQL is a plus.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, initiative, and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) reports and daily management reports for private investment funds.
• Calculate and allocate monthly investor returns, including management and incentive fees.
• Liaise with external fund administrators on accounting and financial reporting matters.
• Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with the management and administration of multiple investment vehicles, including account reconciliations and fund expense tracking.
• Support investor relations and other internal departments by gathering financial data, fulfilling ad-hoc requests, and responding to investor inquiries.
• Partner with technology teams to develop, implement, and maintain reporting tools that improve transparency and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes and improve operational workflows.
