This range is provided by NorthMountain Fund Services. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base Pay Range

$60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Additional Compensation Types

Location

Remote position open to candidates located exclusively in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zones within the United States.

Working Hours

8:00 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Pacific Standard Time, with a one-hour lunch break.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will manage daily accounting for various funds and perform routine accounting tasks. Responsibilities include recording fund transactions, preparing financial reports, supporting portfolio management, and handling administrative tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Processing cash and reconciling bank statements
2. Assisting in setting up investment wires
3. Managing clients’ accounts payables and receivables
4. Maintaining accounting books, records, and general ledger
5. Assisting in capital calls and distributions for investors
6. Drafting financial reports
7. Assisting with clients’ audits and tax preparations at year-end
8. Supporting administrative tasks for VC funds

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Zero to two years of accounting work experience
• Minimum GPA of 3.5
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong work ethic and accountability
• Excellent professional communication skills
• Proficient understanding of US GAAP accounting principles
• Comfortable with numerical modeling to solve practical problems
• Proficiency in Excel
