Job summary

Viridis Fund Solutions in Owings Mills, Maryland, is seeking a Staff Accountant to handle financial reporting for multiple venture capital funds. You will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and perform journal entries and coordination for audits.

Key requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 1–3 years of fund accounting or public accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential; Allvue experience is a plus, CPA preferred.

Experience: 1 – 3 Years of Experience | Travel: N/A

Primarily responsible for the financial reporting for multiple venture capital funds. This position will report to a Senior Accounting Manager.

This position will be required to do the following:

• Prepare daily/weekly journal entries in connection with fund activity
• Prepare quarterly financial statements
• Prepare schedules and provide support in connection with the annual audit
• Assist in managing cash flow needs
• Various ad-hoc tasks, and other projects and deadlines that arise in relation to above

Key Skills:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a strong ability to prioritize work

• Knowledge of GAAP
• Works well under pressure and responds to deadline with urgency

Qualifications:
