Job summary

TrulyHired in Florida seeks an experienced accounting professional to review, monitor, and maintain the district's funds. The role includes preparing financial reports and maintaining ledgers on a monthly basis.

The successful candidate will bring 7+ years of progressive accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, including degrees in business or finance. Strong office computer skills are required.

• Associates degree plus four years of progressively responsible experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.

QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus at least seven (7) years of progressively responsible work experience.
• OR o An Associates Degree from an accredited educational institution plus four (4) years' of progressively more responsible work experience.
• OR o Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Must be able to operate a computer and standard office equipment.

PREFERRED/DESIRED

• Governmental accounting experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/TRAINING

REQUIRED

• Valid Florida Driver's license.
