Job Title: Business Solution Lead – Demand & S&OP (SAP IBP)

Location: Hybrid (every other week Tue-Thu) - mostly remote

Summary

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing and supply chain space, is seeking a Business Solution Lead focused on Demand Planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for an immediate engagement. This role will drive the implementation and optimization of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tools across demand planning and S&OP functions.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with deep experience in SAP IBP deployments, a strong foundation in time series optimization, and the ability to analyze optimizer results to drive measurable business value. Strong communication and data analytics skills are essential, especially in a manufacturing-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP IBP modules (Demand Planning, Demand Sensing, and S&OP).
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions.
• Train end users, including those with limited planning tool experience.
• Support change management and ensure alignment across business units.

Qualifications

• At least one full end-to-end deployment of SAP IBP.
• Proven expertise in demand planning and S&OP processes, including design, testing, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of time series optimization methodologies within SAP IBP.
• Experience conducting optimizer results analysis to drive planning and forecasting improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience delivering end-user training and onboarding.
• Willingness to travel to Atlanta biweekly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Based near Atlanta, GA or able to easily travel to the area.
• Strong data analytics skills, ideally including Python, for supporting optimization and forecast modeling.
• Prior experience supporting manufacturing or industrial clients.
• Open to candidates with moderate time series optimization experience but strong Python-based analytics capabilities, especially for less senior roles (additional position approved).

Additional Information

• Travel: Required every other week to Atlanta, Tuesday through Thursday, if not local.
• Location Preference: Local to Atlanta or able to reliably travel.
