Job summary

Functional Medicine of Idaho in Ammon, Idaho is seeking a qualified clinician to provide comprehensive adult care within a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting. You will develop personalized treatment plans and address root causes beyond symptom management.

You will partner with nurses, nutritionists, health coaches, and mental health clinicians to support patients throughout their care journey and actively grow your patient panel with internal and external referrals.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of clinical experience in primary care, internal medicine, or outpatient settings.
• Active Idaho license as an MD, DO, NP, or PA, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Prescriptive authority in Idaho, or eligibility to obtain it.
• Degree from an accredited institution.
• Genuine interest in functional and integrative medicine; willingness to deepen expertise.
• Comfort working in a multidisciplinary team with nurses, nutritionists, health coaches, students, and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive adult care addressing root causes with full histories and personalized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nurses, nutritionists, health coaches, and mental health clinicians to support care beyond the exam room.
• Grow your patient panel with support from marketing, referrals, and front office teams.
• Suggest improvements to patient flow, documentation, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic options with the Medical Director.
• Participate in community talks, workshops, and FMI events to engage the community and grow practice.
