Job summary

Kaha Consulting is seeking a Functional Consultant to analyze, design, and configure Fenergo solutions for clients in the US/NA region. You will design journeys, data models, rules, and integrations using the Fenergo platform to streamline onboarding and reduce manual work.

Ideal candidates are curious, analytical, and collaborative, with experience in financial services, regulatory topics, and Agile environments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep product, platform and tool knowledge within the Fenergo system.
  • Understand and manage the client relationship through requirements gathering, implementation, documentation and approval.
  • Support and drive the functional analysis and solution design.
  • Translate client requirements into Fenergo configuration and resolve configuration issues.
  • Validate and test your own configuration.
  • Manage your work to meet deadlines with the broader team.
  • Communicate impact of configuration changes to other parts of the configuration.
  • Document configuration approach and present to stakeholders for review/approval.
  • Stay updated on product changes and the full toolset for impact assessment.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions to client business users.
  • Document use-case scenarios for resilient configuration (edge cases).
  • Solution design, configuration, and evaluation of SaaS platform per business needs.
  • Investigations to meet requirements and gap analysis with options/outcomes/recommendations.
  • Deliver product and solution demonstrations to clients.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and scope.
  • Support change management per project.

As a Functional Consultant, you will be responsible for the analysis, design, and release of product solutions for our clients. This entails the design of journeys, data models, rules, and integrations. Using the Fenergo Platform, we help clients rapidly achieve their business outcomes. Making onboarding of clients faster and reducing enormous amounts of manual work. The Platform

Fenergo v10 (aka FenX) is a cloud-native SaaS platform built on AWS that is used to help banks and financial institutions go about their business in an efficient and safe way. It is a serverless, highly scalable web platform providing features and full configuration & administration capabilities. All features are delivered through a layer of highly available APIs offering full feature capabilities to any authorized consumer.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain deep product, platform and tool knowledge within the Fenergo system.
  • Understand and manage the client relationship through the process of gathering requirements, implementation, documentation and approval.
  • Support and drive the functional analysis and solution design.
  • Translate client requirements into new or modified Fenergo configuration while analysing and resolving any configuration issues.
  • Validate and test your own configuration.
  • Manage your own work in an orderly and thought-out manner, remaining organised to meet deadlines and work with your broader team.
  • Anticipate and communicate the impact of configuration change to other parts of the configuration in a software tenant.
  • Document your configuration approach and present to stakeholders – thereby supporting documentation review and approval process
  • Stay abreast of product changes to ensure that you are always aware of the full “toolset” and impact to existing product configuration.
  • prepare and deliver training sessions to the Client’s business users.
  • Document use-case scenarios to ensure that configuration is resilient (negative testing, edge-cases, etc.)
  • Solution design, configuration, and evaluation of the SaaS platform in line with business requirements.
  • Perform investigations to meet requirements and complete gap analysis using configuration, documenting the options, outcomes, and recommendations.
  • Deliver product and solution demonstrations, and presentations to new and existing clients.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and scope control.
  • Support and facilitate the change management process as per the project you are working on.
  • Follow/implement sound tenant management and configuration practices.
  • Research and analyze business, regulatory, and technical topics to support the formulation and specification of client requirements and solution design.
  • Review and recommend changes to existing configuration processes based on changing business needs, while anticipating the impacts to other areas of the solution configuration.
  • Provide product leadership within the design discussion and influence delivery teams and clients in line with the Fenergo product and future strategy.
  • Provide guidance and support to more junior team members.
  • Support training and knowledge transfer within the product Configuration and Consulting practice.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to the product engineering team in the delivery of product functionality.
  • Review and QA of content that is delivered by the product engineering team.
  • Provide SME support to the Sales / Pre-Sales teams and client-facing project teams.
  • Elicit feedback for growth and provide feedback to other team members.
Requirements
  • Business analysis experience, preferably in the financial services industry (we also value experience brought in from other industries and roles!).
