  • Gather and refine business and technical requirements; design new features and enhancements for existing applications.
  • Lead testing: functional, integration, and data conversion activities; support project planning and estimates.
  • Produce technical docs, user guides, and training materials; maintain system documentation.

The selected candidate for this role will lead continuous improvement of the agency's document repository function by identifying risks, strengthening internal controls, analyzing purchasing operations, standardizing processes, and implementing efficiencies that improve service delivery and accountability. Work is scheduled to be completed by 2028. Other duties include but are not limited to:• Gathering and refining business and technical requirements; designing new features and enhancements for existing applications• Conducting impact analyses for new requirements and supporting technical effort estimation and project planning, including RFP process• Leading and supporting functional testing, integration testing, and data conversion activities• Producing and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and training materials• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure smooth system operations/implementation• Modernizing legacy systems and replacing unsupported technologies with modern solutions• Assisting with business process documentation, project implementation and user support related to the database rolloutKnowledge Skills and Abilities/Management PreferencesEffective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification.
