Job summary

Rankings.io, a legal marketing agency, seeks a strategist to build a lifecycle email engine from the ground up. You will own the customer journey—from copywriting to reporting—driving engagement and booked sales calls with leading US law firms.Sitting in a lean marketing team, you’ll craft multi-stage nurture flows in HubSpot, write direct-response emails, optimize deliverability, and run a data-driven testing program that tracks demos, cost per acquisition, and pipeline velocity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building and running B2B email marketing and automation programs.
• Hands-on experience in HubSpot or a comparable enterprise automation platform, building workflows yourself.
• Working knowledge of email deliverability: authentication, list hygiene, sender reputation, and CAN-SPAM.
• Fluency with segmentation, behavioral triggers, and A/B testing.
• Excellent written English and overlap with US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Own lifecycle email program end to end: strategy, architecture, copy, and results.
• Map and optimize the buyer journey to turn partners and executives into clients.
• Build multi-stage nurture flows, webinar invites, and case study sequences in HubSpot for long sales cycles; re-engage cold leads.
• Write the direct-response copy yourself, tailored across practice areas: sequences, subject lines, offers, landing pages.
• Own deliverability and domain reputation, from authentication and subdomain strategy to list hygiene and inbox placement at firms with strict IT filtering.
• Run a continuous A/B testing roadmap and report against booked demos, cost per acquisition, SQLs, and pipeline velocity.
