Job summary

Behavioral Health Solutions (BHS) is seeking a Program Assistant to support our Programs Department. The role works with the Program Specialist Manager to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities include handling provider inquiries, maintaining patient records, and preparing clinical documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance. This is a fully remote, full-time position based in Henderson, NV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Min of 2 years' experience in a healthcare-related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EHR system.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and HIPAA.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle provider inquiries and help maintain accurate patient records.
• Prepare and manage clinical documentation, including intake forms, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Maintain and update patient status in databases, ensuring confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Prepare necessary documentation for patients within the BCCP program for the insurance provider.
• Performing additional tasks, duties, and assignments as specified by your supervisor.
