Job summary

Scale Army Careers is seeking a Software Engineer (Python & React) for a fully remote role, supporting production systems in a fast-paced client-facing software environment for international shipping and e-commerce. You will work across backend Python and frontend React/Next.js, with a strong emphasis on reliability, troubleshooting, and production uptime.

The role requires 3–6 years of full-stack experience, strong Python skills, and familiarity with Azure cloud.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience across full-stack applications in production.
• Experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience maintaining and supporting existing production systems.
• Experience independently troubleshooting bugs, tickets, and system issues.

Responsibilities

• Support client-facing systems and applications in international shipping/e-commerce.
• Troubleshoot and resolve tickets, bugs, and system issues.
• Independently investigate problems and identify practical solutions.
• Own assigned tickets through to resolution and communicate progress.
• Develop and maintain backend in Python and frontend in React/Next.js.
• Build, ship, and maintain production software balancing speed and reliability.
