Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a Fully Remote Employment Law Attorney licensed in California. The position offers a base salary between $180,000 and $250,000 per year plus bonus. An active CA Bar is required.

This role focuses on advising and litigating employment matters for a diverse client base. You will manage all phases of litigation, provide strategic counseling on workplace policies and risk, and collaborate with partners to develop effective strategies.

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of employment litigation experience.
• Strong experience in employment-related litigation.
• Experience handling wage and hour, PAGA, FEHA, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, legal research, drafting pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Provide strategic counselling to clients on employment law issues, workplace policies, and risk management.

Salary and Other Compensation:

• The annual salary for this position is between $180,000 - $250,000 annually, plus bonus. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
