Overview

Job Summary: The Cleaner provides cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area.

Pay: $20.65 per hour

The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and market data.

Shift: Sunday - Tuesday 4:00pm-3:30am; Wednesday 4:00pm - 11:00pm

Basic Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities
• Follow procedures for use of chemical cleaners and equipment to prevent damage
• Notify Manager about repairs or building system needs
• Maintain effective communication with clients and team members
• Comply with safety, security, and quality standards
• Clean furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machines, and equipment
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning
• Clean interior glass, windows, mirrors
• Wash and replace blinds
• Empty trash and perform seasonal outdoor tasks
• Clean food service areas and restrooms

This role is suitable for entry-level candidates or those returning to the workforce. ABM is veteran-friendly; military experience is encouraged.
