Job summary

E-Solutions is seeking an experienced Site Delivery Manager for our Northfield, IL client site to lead onsite delivery of IT infrastructure services. You will ensure operational excellence, manage Data Center and Compute environments, and align with executives and project teams to meet SLAs and business objectives.

The role requires deep DC/Compute expertise, strong vendor coordination, and proven ability to drive improvements, manage risk, and maintain compliance across complex enterprise

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Services.
• 8+ years in Service Delivery or Infrastructure Management roles.
• Experience managing customer-facing operations within enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Data Center, Compute, and Managed Services operations.
• Experience handling executive-level customer interactions and escalations.

Responsibilities

• Act as onsite service delivery lead and trusted advisor for the customer.
• Oversee day-to-day delivery across Data Center and Compute environments.
• Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Coordinate incident, problem, change, and service request processes.
• Lead major incident management and ensure timely resolution.

Role Summary

The Site Delivery Manager will serve as the primary point of contact at the customer site, ensuring seamless delivery of IT infrastructure services, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. The role requires strong technical expertise in Data Center (DC) operations, Compute Infrastructure, Service Delivery Management, and stakeholder engagement. The individual will act as a bridge between customer leadership, technical teams, managed service providers, and project stakeholders to ensure service commitments, SLAs, and business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

Service Delivery Management

• Act as the onsite service delivery lead and trusted advisor for the customer.
• Manage day-to-day delivery of infrastructure services across Data Center and Compute environments.
• Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate incident, problem, change, and service request management processes.
• Lead major incident management activities and ensure timely resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Conduct regular service review meetings with customers.
• Provide operational updates, service reports, risk assessments, and improvement plans.
• Handle customer escalations and ensure prompt resolution.
• Identify opportunities for service enhancement and value-added initiatives.
• Oversee data center operations, including server infrastructure, storage, virtualization, and hardware lifecycle management.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, upgrades, migrations, and refresh programs.
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery readiness activities.
• Support infrastructure projects, technology refreshes, and transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate implementation activities with project teams and customer stakeholders.
• Manage infrastructure onboarding and transition to operations.
• Track project risks, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reviews.
• Maintain service dashboards, risk registers, action trackers, and compliance reports.
• Drive governance reviews and operational excellence programs.
• Ensure documentation, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge repositories remain updated.
• Coordinate with offshore delivery teams, OEMs, vendors, and support partners.
• Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and customer stakeholders.
• Drive accountability and ownership for service delivery outcomes.
