Job summary

Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY is seeking a Fulltime OR Support role (Days) with a sign-on bonus. You will maintain the sterile field, assist the surgical team by passing instruments and supplies, and support perioperative care in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum high school diploma and completion of an accredited surgical technology program are required; CFA program completion is preferred but not mandatory.

Description

Under the direct supervision of the OR Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, this position maintains the sterile field in the operating room, being constantly vigilant to see that proper aseptic techniques are utilized to prevent contamination and infection and assists the surgical team as the sterile member who passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.

High school diploma.

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.

Graduate of an accredited CFA program preferred, not required.

At least one year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Required Skills

Must have a high energy level with ability to work under stress of the operating room atmosphere and exhibit emotional maturity, stability, and flexibility

BLS certification required
