Affirm, Inc. is seeking a software engineer to join the Marketplace and App Experience frontend teams. You will break down projects, ship web apps with React/Vue, and collaborate with product, design, and analytics.

The role focuses on APIs with Kotlin or Python, on-call readiness, and contributing to a healthy code base while growing with the team. Affirm is remote-first across the United States with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience shipping web apps with React or Vue.
• Experience shipping mobile apps with React Native.
• Experience designing, developing and launching APIs using Kotlin or Python.
• Ability to turn a simple problem into a well-tested, extensible code solution.
• Comfort navigating a large code base and providing feedback via code reviews.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with a global engineering team.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
