Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for the Agent Platform in San Francisco. You will own the full feature lifecycle from discovery to deployment, building React frontends and Python/Node.js backends in a high-scale, multi-tenant environment.

You''ll collaborate with researchers, product, design, and operations to deliver polished, demo-ready capabilities that power enterprise workflows and internal users. This role requires in-person work five days a week.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-stack engineering delivering production software.
• Expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with React/Next.js.
• Backend experience in Python and/or Node.js with REST APIs.
• Experience with high-throughput, multi-tenant data pipelines.
• Strong ownership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the full stack of the Mercor agent platform.
• Deliver reliable features with production-grade polish and performance.
• Architect infrastructure for rapid agent use cases and task formats.
• Own end-to-end delivery of high-leverage product features.
• Collaborate with researchers, product managers, designers, and operations.
• Write clean, maintainable frontend and backend code.
• Diagnose issues in high-throughput, multi-tenant environments.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities and ensure high availability.
• Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to define and iterate on the platform roadmap.
• Ensure all deliverables are demo-ready and meet standards.
