Job summary

Elliptic in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced software engineer to join our Collection Engineering team building tools powering crypto intelligence. You will design and ship production software, integrate services on Kubernetes, and collaborate with data scientists and analysts to automate workflows and scale the ingestion pipeline.

You'll work with TypeScript, React, Nest.js, Postgres, and AWS, applying AI-enabled approaches to improve collection and analysis while maintaining

Qualifications

• Track record of building and shipping production software in a commercial engineering environment.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, with hands-on experience of React and Nest.js.
• Familiarity with Postgres and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Datadog.
• AI fluency: working with AI-enabled and agentic tooling and a clear trajectory in practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Design and build software tools to improve and enhance our intelligence collection and analysis efforts, including services on Kubernetes and autonomous agents.
• Collaborate with analysts and researchers to understand processes and automate them using software and AI where appropriate.
• Develop software to analyse cryptocurrency usage behaviours and trends.
• Implement observability mechanisms to detect problems and run associated business processes to resolve.
