Job summary

High Associates is seeking a Grounds Maintenance professional in Lancaster, PA, to perform a range of outdoor care and upkeep across our properties. The role emphasizes reliable, safe operations and delivering excellent service to tenants and neighbors.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, with a 6:30am–3:00pm schedule, and includes a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within High Associates and the High Companies family.

Qualifications

• Valid PA driver's license is required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Grounds maintenance/landscaping experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Complete all grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Operate and maintain equipment.
• Identify plants and weeds; perform edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, mowing, watering, weeding, leaf clean-up.
• Assist with snow/ice removal; may include weekends.
• Safely use company vehicles and equipment per policies.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

This is a Full-Time (year-round) position from Monday- Friday 6:30am- 3:00pm. Must be available to work this schedule (days and hours).

Responsibilities For Our Grounds Maintenance Include

• Completing all grounds maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Operating and maintaining equipment.
• Expanding identification of plants and weeds.
• Edging, mulching, trimming, pruning, mowing, watering, weeding, and leaf clean-up.
• Assisting with snow/ice removal, as required. This will include Saturday & Sundays when it snows on those days.
• Safely using company vehicles and equipment by adhering to company standards.
• Abiding by all company and safety policies and procedures.

Our next co-worker will possess the following work and educational requirements:

• Valid PA driver's license is required!
• High School Diploma or GED, required
• Previous grounds maintenance/landscaping experience, preferred but not required
• The ability to work in both a team environment and independently.
