Job summary

Craig Taylor Equipment in Fairbanks is seeking a full-time Yard Hand to support the service team. You will greet customers, assess equipment needs, and help with loading, unloading, and moving items.

The role includes maintaining yard and inventory, completing local parts runs, assisting with rental gear, and performing general maintenance such as snow removal and cleaning. A high school diploma and solid communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• At least 2 years of sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and interact with them to understand equipment needs.
• Load/unload trucks, trailers and shipments and move equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized yard, shop, and inventory.
• Complete local parts runs and deliveries and assist with rental equipment.
• Perform general maintenance including snow removal, sanding and cleaning.
• Support with trailer and truck washes and inventory control.
