Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn is seeking an X-Ray Technologist for a full-time Saturday–Tuesday 4pm–12am shift. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per departmental protocols and ensure patient safety and high-quality imaging in a teaching hospital setting.

The role requires an Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology, NYS Radiologic Technology License (permit accepted in lieu), and strong patient communication skills to support the care team and patient

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• New York State Radiologic Technology License.
• New York State Radiologic Technology Permit can be accepted in lieu of license.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations independently following department protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Ensure image quality and patient safety; review images for technical quality prior to PACS submission.
• Maintain equipment and assist with QC; follow radiation safety principles.
