Job summary

NYU Langone Health's Bay Ridge facility seeks a Part Time X-Ray Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per departmental protocols and physician orders. Qualifications

• Requires Associate's Degree or Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
• NY State Radiologic Technology License required.
• Permit accepted in lieu of NYS License where applicable.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations per departmental protocols and physician orders.
• Position patients and imaging equipment to obtain optimal images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Adjust technical factors to ensure image quality and patient safety.
• Review images for technical quality before submission to PACS/EMR.
• Maintain patient comfort, privacy, and dignity during procedures.
• Demonstrate compliance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
