Job summary

Carbon Health Technologies Inc. seeks a Radiology Supervisor to prepare patients for diagnostic imaging, explain procedures and ensure patient comfort.

You will protect patients with radiation safety, prepare images for radiologist review, and support workflow whilst leading with certified credentials. The role requires 12-hour shifts and offers comprehensive health coverage and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Advanced expertise typically developed through job-related training and significant work experience.
• Associate's degree or equivalent with related experience or training.
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience.
• Current CRT certificate.
• Current CPR-BLS certification.
• ARRT registration or equivalent credentialing.
• DOT certification may be reimbursed for practice.

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging and explain procedures.
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist.
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to optimize patient flow.

Job description

• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging; explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
• Prepare images for reading by Radiologist
• Assist with Medical Assistant duties to ensure optimal patient flow
• Attend staff and departmental meetings
• Complete training and become certified with the Department of Transportation to perform Urine Drug Screens and Breath Alcohol Tests
• Proposes improvements to processes and workflows
• Works autonomously within established procedures and practices.
• Must be able to work 12 Hour Shifts.

Qualifications

• Has advanced and specialized expertise, typically developed through job-related training and considerable work experience. May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others, but is not a supervisor
• Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 3+ years in healthcare leadership experience
• Current CRT certificate
• Current CPR- BLS
• Licensure/Certifications:Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or have an equivalent Radiologic Technology credentialing agency
