Job summary

Geiger, part of the MillerKnoll collective, is seeking a frame assembler to build wood frame components in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes accuracy with hand and pneumatic tools, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

The position requires basic math, ability to follow work instructions, and teamwork to meet daily production goals. Training and opportunities for cross-training across departments are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent demonstrated performance.
• Experience assembling wood products in manufacturing or construction is preferred.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic drawings/work instructions.
• Competent in basic math and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood frame components, panels, or structures according to work instructions and production schedules.
• Use hand tools and pneumatic tools to fasten lumber and components.
• Inspect materials and assemblies for quality, conformance to specifications.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized work area; follow OSHA-compliant practices.
• Assist with cross-training in other assembly processes and participate in continuous improvement.
