Job summary

Geiger is hiring for a 2nd shift Frame Assembly in Hildebran, NC. The role involves assembling wood frame components in a manufacturing setting, following blueprints and schedules, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience assembling wood products in manufacturing or construction.
• Ability to read tape measures and basic drawings.
• Competent in basic math; able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble wood frame components, panels, or structures per instructions and schedules.
• Use hand/pneumatic tools, jigs, and fixtures to fasten lumber accurately.
• Inspect materials and assemblies to meet quality standards.
• Maintain lean workflow and follow OSHA-safe practices at all times.
• Cross-train in other assembly processes to build skills.
• Move/load lumber and finished frames safely.
• Identify materials, counts and perform basic material tracking.
• Keep work areas clean and organized for safety.
• Operate basic woodworking equipment as trained.
• Report equipment issues and assist maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
