Job summary

Airlite Plastics in Omaha, NE is hiring a Warehouser to contribute to receiving, storing, and distributing manufactured products. This full-time, non-exempt role supports timely order fulfillment and inventory control.

You will prepare orders, inspect accuracy, operate forklifts, load/unload trucks, and record movements using scanners and computers while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three months related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
• Must be able to work well with others, build partnerships and support team members.
• Must be self-motivated and positive.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Uphold and support organizational goals and values.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule and procedures.
• Inspect orders to ensure accuracy of product type and quantity, ensure labeling is correct.
• Operate standard sit down forklifts lift as needed to transport skids and product to staging or storage areas.
• Load and unload trucks at any Airlite facility.
• Record product being stored, moved or shipped using scanners and computers.
• Ensure proper marking on boxes, bundles and labels.
• Use computer equipment to record product being stored, shipped or processing of UPS and air freight shipments to required procedures.
• Notify leadership of product which does not meet quality standards.
• Maintain inventory controls per procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain attendance within company standards.
• Responsible for reporting food safety problems to management.
