Job summary

Mud Bay is seeking a Warehouse Assistant I to support daily order picking and inventory replenishment at our Lacey, WA warehouse. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and efficiency to ensure timely transfers to Mud Bay stores.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, stocking, and maintaining clean, organized work areas. The position requires lifting up to 50 pounds, flexible hours including weekends, and occasional travel to Olympia. Competitive hourly pay and benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Competent with basic math, comfortable using computers and handheld scanners.
• Flexibility to work a full-time schedule including mornings, afternoons, weekends.
• Location based in the Lacey, WA warehouse.
• Travel to the Home Office in Olympia on a quarterly basis.

Responsibilities

• Picks, packs, and stages shipments to Mud Bay stores; meets pick rate goals.
• Replenishes stock from overstock following FIFO.
• Assigns bin locations consistent with layout and pick paths.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization.
• Follow safety procedures and complete monthly trainings.
• Maintain 98%+ pick accuracy; perform cycle counts as needed.
• Support DC team as directed by Warehouse Manager or Supervisors.
• Ensure pallets are wrapped safely for stores.
