You will assist with restraint, triage, lab work, imaging, nursing care, medications, and client communication to support medical, surgical and dental care for a variety of animals, including exotic pets and wildlife.

Qualifications

• Veterinary Assistant with at least 1 year of experience.
• Compassionate, calm and team-focused.
• Able to restrain pets and assist in procedures.
• Experience with sample collection, lab work, radiographs, and anesthesia monitoring is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Pet restraint and triage of incoming patients.
• Collection and analysis of lab samples.
• Diagnostic imaging and nursing care for medical/hospitalized cases.
• Administration of medications and client treatment plan communication.
• Surgical preparation and assistance; anesthetic management.
