Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer proficiency, including practice management software and Microsoft Office.
• Previous experience working with animals preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle animals up to 130 pounds.
• Flexible schedule and ability to work during all hours the practice is open.
• Professional, neat appearance consistent with hospital standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides compassionate, professional care to patients and clients at all times.
• Communicates clearly with clients, doctors, and team members; answers phones and routes inquiries.
• Assists the veterinarian during exams, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.
• Safely restrains animals using low-stress handling techniques.
• Administers medications, draws vaccines, collects lab samples, and performs basic lab tests.
