Responsibilities include assisting with exams, treatments, surgeries, and providing compassionate care to patients and owners. Weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary hospital or similar setting preferred.
• Knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays.
• Compassionate nature and love for animals.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures.
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their owners.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of hospital and equipment.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and effectively.
• Participate in the care and feeding of hospitalized patients.
• Adhere to hospital core values, policies and procedures at all times.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
