Daly City Pet Hospital is actively seeking a dedicated RVT or experienced Veterinary Assistant/Technician for a full-time position. Join a fast-paced, compassionate team focused on animal welfare and client education. We offer professional growth opportunities and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities include clinical support, anesthesia monitoring, IV access, dental scaling, lab processing, and radiography/ultrasound. Must be prepared to work weekdays or weekends and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must have a compassionate, dedicated and detail-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and interact well with clients and their pets.
• Availability to work Weekdays or Weekends.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and animal anatomy.
• Strong experience in animal care, including handling and kennel management.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, procedures, anesthesia monitoring and surgery.
• Perform basic medical procedures (IV catheters, blood draws, dental scaling) and administer medications.
• Process lab samples and operate digital radiography and ultrasound equipment.
• Greet clients, answer calls, schedule appointments and educate pet owners on preventative care and treatment plans.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kennels, exam rooms, and lab; ensure accurate patient records.
